Silas von Sondheim is an adorable, smaller-sized, 3-year-old German Shepherd. Gorgeous Silas with his classic markings has a mellow and somewhat shy energy – it seems as if no one has ever told him how breathtakingly gorgeous he is. Silas is a remarkably easy walker, though he needs some encouragement to come out of his kennel to start the walk. Sometimes he stops and looks around at his unfamiliar surroundings, wondering where he is and if he will be safe here. Despite his shyness, Silas is a very sweet guy who is tolerant of all the dogs on his walk. He craves a kind and loving person to lavish him with cuddles that he never received in his younger years. In playgroups, Silas comes in calmly and shows a preference towards mellow, non-pushy dogs like himself. He is very comfortable with different kinds of dogs, and prefers to sniff around the yard before lying down and observing the rest of the pack. Silas is likely already housebroken, and would fit into any calm, loving home. This wonderful boy would melt your heart and, with a patient and kind owner, he will undoubtedly become the carefree, lighthearted pup he is meant to be.
